Iam James Kwame Peprah, a passionate mental health advocate and a founder of Break Free From Drug Addiction Foundation. I hold a Degree in Psychology and Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Ghana.
My team and I came up with this intervention program with a sole aim of carryout a comprehensive education and awareness creation the of negative side effects on the use of psychoactive drugs especially among the youth.
As a mental health advocate, I observed and noticed that the rate at which many young adults are indulging in hard drugs is getting too alarming and if proactive steps and measures are not put in place to eradicate or curb the menace, the situation may get out of control. So, this is what motivated us to champion this cause.
